Hailing from Newcastle, NSW, Austin Mackay has quickly emerged as one of Australia's most exciting new voices in contemporary country and folk music. Blending the heartfelt storytelling of folk with the grit and energy of modern country, his music has earned a rapidly growing audience on both sides of the Pacific.

Over the past two years, Austin has built an impressive international profile, touring alongside U.S. star Max McNown across the United States, Australia and New Zealand, supporting Jackson Dean throughout Australia and New Zealand, and sharing stages with artists including Morgan Evans and Brad Cox. In 2026, he completed his debut North American headline tour, selling out multiple dates and further cementing his growing fanbase in the U.S.

Austin has also performed at some of Australia's and America's most respected festivals, including CMA Fest in Nashville, Byron Bay Bluesfest, Savannah in the Round, Gympie Music Muster and Howlin' Country.
